André Oliveira is member of the Digital Technology team of the ProChild CoLAB, as a software engineer with responsibilities linked with business analysis.

He holds a master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems from the University of Minho, and he is currently pursuing his PhD. In Systems Information and Technology at the same University, in the field of cybersecurity certification for the Industrial Sector.

After gathering some professional experiences in the Centro Hospitalar do Porto related to the management of information and technology services and the adaptation to the GDPR, and in the industrial sector as a systems administrator having responsibility for every aspect related to technology. Posteriorly, he became a member of the University of Minho and Algoritmi Research Centre team for the EU Fishy Project, which has the purpose to develop a coordinated framework for cyber-resilient supply chain systems. Currently, he is also a invited assistant professor at the Department of Information Systems of the University of Minho.
