Cláudia Ribeiro

Psychologist in the Protection area

Cláudia Ramos Ribeiro is a psychologist, a full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (Professional License no. 30921) and a PhD candidate in Psychology at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where she has conducted research on the impact of the quality of early mother-infant interactions (namely sensitivity and mind-mindedness) on the development of executive functioning during the first year of life. She is an author and co-author of scientific papers and national and international conference communications.

In 2018, Cláudia obtained her MSc in Community Psychology and Protection of Children and Youth at Risk at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, with a dissertation focused on the assessment of post-traumatic stress symptoms in children and adolescents. As part of her academic training, she completed an internship at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa in a residential care setting, where she subsequently worked. She also holds an Advanced Specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology and Psychotherapy from INSPSIC.

She is currently a researcher at ProChild CoLAB, in the field of Protection.
