Inês Dias

specialist in public health in health and wellbeing area

Inês Dias has a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Public Health. In 2023, joined the ProChild CoLAB team, as a researcher in the health and well-being area. Along her professional career Inês Dias collaborated in different national and international projects in the field of public health, particularly reproductive care and maternal and child health. She was involved in projects focused on prematurity such as the “Effective Perinatal Intensive Care in Europe (EPICE)” and the “Parenting Roles and Knowledge in Intensive Care Units (PACO)”, and low birthweight, such as the “STOP Low birthweight” project. Inês’ PhD thesis aimed to contribute for ethically sustainable and people-centred policies and recommendations in the field of gamete donation, and it was completed in the scope of the project “Bionetworking and citizENship on GAmetE Donation (ENGAGED)”. Inês Dias has experience in analysing quantitative and qualitative data and published several scientific papers, book chapters and national and international communications.
