The main objectives of the Protection Area are:

• Promote the improvement of the quality of the Child Protection System, through the (re) qualification and qualification of institutions, services and responses, based on the development of models of evaluation and intervention, training and supervision and scientifically validated;
• Promote public policies based on empirical evidence that guarantee the protection, well-being and rights of the child.
