Multisystemic Intervention Model with Families at Risk

Research has shown that the placement of children in residential care has a strong negative impact throughout life. Thus, family preservation should be the central purpose of the child protection system, as recommended in the law for the protection of children and young people in danger. In the impossibility of protecting the child in the family, the system can determine placement measures. In this case, when is confirmed in a consistent and sustained manner, successful reunifications should be the focus of the intervention

Promote family preservation, through the development, implementation and the efficacy study of a Multisystemic Intervention Model with Families at risk.
